Welcome to Kindergarten! We are going to make our brains very smart!!!
We will be learning many exciting and wonderful things. We will be making new friends and learning about each other. We will have lots of fun as we learn and grow.
There are many questions that Mom and Dad may have about Kindergarten. These will be answered at Open House on August 28th. I am looking forward to seeing all of you!
Conversation time (our version of Show and Tell) will be Tuesday through Friday of each week. More information will follow.
You will be receiving a green folder at Open House. This folder will be used to send papers and other important information to and from school and home every day. A large backpack is recommended to be able to hold the folder and other items that will be coming home. We are developing responsibility and routines through their use.
Homework nights are Monday and Wednesday, unless there is a holiday or snow day. Please encourage your child's development of responsibility in completing and returning homework on time. For the first part of the school year, homework will only be sent home on Wednesdays.
Please share a good book (or two or three!) with your child each day.
