We are working hard in Kindergarten. The children have been exposed to so many new things already. It would be very helpful if you could reinforce some of these things at home. You do not need to spend more than fifteen minutes a day practicing, and it does not have to be fifteen consecutive minutes. You can break it down into smaller increments of time.
The following are some of the things to practice:
Recognition of the letters we have worked on thus far (Aa, Cc, Dd, Ll, Mm, Nn, Pp, Rr, Ss, and Tt.
Recognition of sounds we have worked on in the initial and final positions (/a/, /c/, /d/, /l/,/m/, /n/,/p/,/r/, /s/ /t/.
