Kulmann's Kindergarten Korner

Dear Parents,

I welcome your child to kindergarten! I am excited about the upcoming year and the new challenges and experiences that lie ahead. It is very important that your child wears the name/bus tag provided for them. Please have your child wear it daily for the first two weeks of school. It is a large school with many buses and your child’s safety is very important to us. Here is some information that will be useful to you throughout the year:

☺Snack will be provided at school. The cost is $3.50 per child per week. The money will be collected on Mondays. It may be paid by the month if you choose to do so. Please label an envelope with your child’s name when turning in the money.

☺A backpack is necessary for important notices and your child’s masterpieces.

☺Please label clothing such as hats, coats, backpacks, etc.

☺Please send in an old shirt to keep at school to be used as a paint smock.

☺If your child’s birthday occurs during the school year, I welcome a celebration at school. Please notify me if you are sending in a treat. Summer birthdays will be celebrated toward the end of the school year.

☺If there are any changes in transportation I must have a note (i.e. If your child is going home with someone else or if someone different is picking them up).
